John Kampmann – CEO
MEA’s President, John Kampmann, PE SI, graduated first from the United States Merchant Marine Academy and then from University of South Florida. John maintains and has sailed on a USCG unlimited tonnage Chief Mate license, giving him a unique knowledge of the maritime industry. He possesses two General Contractor licenses, previously owned a deck and dock company, and is involved in evaluating and validating products under the Florida Building Code. Away from MEA Engineers, John is a rower and enjoys bicycling, remote sailboats, traveling, and photography.
Michelle Flynn – COO
MEA’s Chief Operating Officer, Michelle Flynn (LCSW, CCM) fell into work with MEA Engineers by chance. A Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Certified Case Manager with decades spent in healthcare administration, Michelle now applies her people and project-management skills to MEA Engineers and sister companies West Coast Walls and Gates and A1 Metalcraft. Michelle is responsible for organization and oversight as well as permitting for all projects.
Away from MEA Engineers, Michelle enjoys horseback riding, dragon boat paddling, bicycling, hiking- anything outdoors!
